I began formulating Glojo in 2017 to help my own patients in my clinical practice.

My patients all wanted the same thing: the tools to support their own body’s innate wisdom. Despite the abundance of clinical research and data around acne and the gut-skin axis, most patients with breakout concerns had been told they had to manipulate their bodies with harsh synthetic medications and/or topical products in order to clear their skin. Short term results that didn’t last and harsh side effects just came with the territory. These patients were frustrated. They wanted a better way.

After treating hundreds of patients over 8 years in clinical practice, I developed a line of supplements that naturally cleared the skin of over 85% of patients.

The joy my patients felt as a result of clearing their skin naturally, simply with the right nutritional support was contagious. Not only did their confidence soar, they had more energy and peace within their bodies. These simple, natural tools were too good not to share beyond my practice.

About Dr. Denniston ND

Dr. Denniston ND is the founder and formulator of Glojo. She is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a medical practice in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Although she began her practice helping patients with a variety of concerns (including primary care, hormonal health and dermatological concerns) she began focusing her practice on skin health after searching for, and finding answers to, her own skin related issues. She graduated from Bastyr University with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts. She has conducted research at UC San Diego, jointly publishing the results of her team’s original in vitro research highlighting the complex interaction of plant constituents with human gut microbes and the efficacy of herbal medicines via the gut microbiome.
